BRASTHERM INVESTS IN ENERGY DECARBONIZATION -

BRASTHERM continues its progress in decarbonizing its production processes.

Taking advantage of the excellent sun exposure of its production unit in Leiria, the company invested in the expansion of the photovoltaic system, adding 34 new solar panels to the existing ones.

This new installation will allow BRASTHERM to produce an additional 35 MWh of clean energy per year. A strong commitment to renewable energy in accordance with the company's DNA, where energy efficiency and performance are at the core of the construction of its equipment and technologies.

The present investment is a further important step for BRASTHERM in continuing to reduce its carbon footprint in order to minimize the environmental impact of its manufacturing process. This objective is in line with the reputation of its industrial kilns, already known for fuel savings and reduction of CO2 emissions, which contribute to a more sustainable production in the Ceramic and Heat Treatment Industry.
