NEW PLANT TO START WITH BRASTHERM TECHNOLOGY -

BRASTHERM is equipping a new factory for a prestigious customer, which has more than 40 years in the Portuguese ceramic industry, dedicated to the production of earthenware and stoneware.

The new intermittent kilns with a capacity of 9m³, will be part of an advanced production line with 4 kilns, fed by optimized load kiln cars in a railless handling system.

Thanks to the robustness of the construction and selected materials, these equipments are prepared to support temperatures up to 1300ºC, with the precision of a rigorous control system. Without a doubt, a lasting investment in the vanguard of ceramic production.

Energy saving and gas emission reduction was one of the main criteria considered. Therefore, these kilns will be equipped with new generation burners, with low NOx emissions and the latest technology in air exchangers, which allow for consumption reductions between 15 to 20%.

This new factory unit with more than 4000 m² will represent not only a technological leap in the quality of the Client's production, but also a strong commitment to more sustainable production.
